Why this week I received an early Ester gift!

This gift was a 85 page document about machinery row!

Yes 85 pages emails from and to the city from the properties owners on Water St that make up Machinery Row!

As well emails to and from Blackwell/staff and others on the development (or lack there of) this interesting idea.

As I read them I get the idea of kickbacks to the developer, escrow accounts set up for strange uses, lots of Complaining from the original owners on what was going on and the harsh feelings on the subject of working with Blackwell and the City.

I have read this twice as well as shown this to trusted others to get an understanding of what is going on.

This week I plan to share this with members of the Wisconsin Legislature in the hopes of letting them know of what I think is shady dealings in Racine so they can at least stop any more money from being spent by the State on this project.

As well be sending a letter outlining what I have to both HUD and POTUS for I hope for the Feds to stop any grants being given to this and with luck pulling some back.

This and other documents I have will be used as the bases of Ebooks on what I can only see as the most corrupt city in Wisconsin

Yes kinda late of a post from the Journal Times but perhaps The City Administer   Tom Friedel needed to approve the story first but to the point the pitch to steal your money for a dead Racine has begun

Wow the City needing to remove street lights and cut the Bus service to almost nothing wants to pay 2/3 of the cost  of a 40+ Million Arena. Well not the city so much as you the tax payer so the Downtown Racine bar owners can make more money, after all the Bar Owners have been good to Mayor Dickert (well the white bar owners the Black-Hispanic mostly being driven from the area)

As the County Board goes forward looking at this I do hope they look at the results of other City of Racine projects:

Porter’s:  Unknown amount spent site now empty

Delta Hawk Unknown Amount spent from City of Racine and State   100 + Jobs promised: Company sold to others unknown jobs no job numbers ever given in public

Machinery Row, Millions lent State Tax credits approved Federal/State Grants given:

Legal action between partners, Legal Action on former owner, Loan not repaid, no building going on at site no activity can be seen from street, Racine County web site appears to say that the project IS NOT PAYING TAXES

Strong rumor is that a State grant will be used to buy land given to Machinery Row by the City so the property tax bill is paid …?

And the Racine County Board is thinking of doing ANYTHING with the city of Racine that’s right its not their money its yours and the right folks will benefit and that is not you.

To the Story

As you know (because our Mayor is telling us) The City of Racine in land locked we can not grow away from the Lake, if I understand correctly from time to time The City of Racine has tried to trade with the  Village of Mount Pleasant for land south of the City in and around Mead St (East) to I understand say 21 St (south) but Mount Pleasant is not interested.

This is one of the reasons we are told Root Works needs to happen this idea would give Racine areas to develop (just like the old Porter’s Project!)  You know the City gives the owner Money a TIF is made the streets turn to Gold

So with many needs and many Court Cases in Federal Court what is a Mayor to do?

How does he find the money?

Might  a way be Water Rates with forcing as many as possible to buy Water from the City of Racine?

After all the Poor Farmers on Hwy V will not only be made to pay for the Water and Sewage lines  run thorough the Farmers land into Caledonia TID 4 (now that is a story that may yet end up in court and be rather upsetting to many in the Racine GOP perhaps even Governor Walker)

Not only will they have to pay for the lines but over time buy City of Racine Water use City of Racine Sewer with that money going to our dear Mayor’s pocket!

Just think how much Water a farmer may have to use!

As well if/when Caledonia builds up how many more homes/businesses will be buying The City of Racine Water  at what is seen by some as high rates that our Mayor could jack up at anytime!

 

 

 

It all started with a phone call

 

About 10 days ago I got a phone call from Jim L the former County Executive based on this Photo (see above)

During the course of the phone call we spoke of many things great guy to talk with.

As you know I am no fan of his when it comes to the Marina or giving what I feel is a pass to Mayor John Dickert and what in time will be known IMHO the largest scandal in the City of Racine the whole Root Works Machinery Row deal.

Mr. L knows of this I have said as much to him.

The phone call got me thinking of why now vs when I was so much more active?

Talked to others about this a big big blank I still have no clue.

Still why became even if I am the worst writer on Earth (and I am) I still put out information that many would not want you to know.

That being news about: Hwy V in Mount Pleasant the war on Farmers or Why Caledonia T.I.F. 4  needs water and who in the GOP might be benefiting

 

The continuing saga of Root Works now including a revolving Loan Fund  using Block Grant money Or Mayor John Dickert’s pals need money far more then we need good roads!

Of course our “Leaders” say the right things to the sheep: “….if someone looked at the number of jobs available in the city, they might wonder how anyone is unemployed, Payne said. Many people aren’t equipped for certain positions, she said, adding many jobs don’t provide a family-sustaining wage.”

Ms Payne and Mr Delagrave just might want to look at who is hiring or claiming to be looking for employees they might want to find out if those jobs really exist or are some listed to help give an illusion that there are jobs that pay well.

Thinking myself that, if as some believe, we have companies offering ghost jobs its with the permission if not suggestion of our leadership.

After all is the Journal Times  going to look into that?

 

Interesting to is how we treat our Homeless those in need how well we take care of others who do nothing.

More and more I hear that HALO is turning others away not because they come looking for a place to crash drunk or drugged out turned away for that but well there is no room at the Inn even if your in a Wheelchair. Not in Racine where we care about everyone well everyone who is rich and white

How much money has the City and County spent on bringing Boats to Racine and where are they?

With 5th St being no more and being filled in  and Azarian being sold (why was this not seized for Back Taxes when the county could have….)

Some Boats will move to Reef Point and of course Reef Point will then say how great business is!

Then the question to ask is if the Restaurant at Reef Point is paying rent yet?

Forgot this is Racine where if you serve the rich and white then your golden, if your poor or God have mercy poor and Black well your just fucked but please vote for the name with the D after it.

 

 

Phase IV of the New Now

Well normally I wait for the same folks who claim the same things to spin about the cesspool of Racine and again get nothing done.

However I got no time for that, got things to do and places to go, you do too!

Best do any of us have the time to spend on the haters and their hate of everything most of all God Save you if you do not hate along side them every step of the way.

Can’t speak for you but I do not there is a lot of information to gather on the strange world this perhaps the most corrupt city in the Midwest if not the whole 50 States.

This information can be gathered and shared in a way that is ethical and more critical not filled with hate.

Best, far better ways to get these stories out then just waiting for eyeballs to come across a Web Page or a post to Facebook.

In fact the steps I have started to undertake will allow me access to a wide readership and resources from editing to legal aid in obtaining Open Records

Others have the same ability to do this but as I see it, far easier to hate then anything else

So I will be creating a new site to do this that.

As much as I still be writhing about the corruption is S.E. Wisconsin, I am also planing to write on efforts to fix this area of Wisconsin

I will also be cutting ties with the Equality Project of Racine, They do not speak for me nor I for them.

Even with the outcome known we fight.

Yes one again the Equality Project is going to the Racine Ethics Board. You know that is filled with Mayor Dickert supporters known pals who work/worked on his campaign

Both  Link Murphy and Doug Nicholson sit on the Ethics Board the Chair is Mary Wyant who does legal work (or her firm does) for the person we are bring up on Ethics Mary Osterman for actions she took as she sat and still sets on the City of Racine Ethics board.

The action was filed on Thursday 2/7/2014  and other then this email:

I am in receipt of your Ethics Complaint which was filed on 2-6-2014 with the City Clerk’s Office.  You do not need to make copies for the members.  I will be forwarding your complaint to the Chairman and she will advise me of how she wishes this to be handled.

Mind you I will be writing an Email to the char asking that she and Mr. Murphy and Nicholson recuse themselves from any thing to do with this since Oserman worked as well on Mayor Dickers Campaign and I will find it hard to think they can be unbiased

My guess is that they will not and I then will see what action I can take if only in the field of Public Opinion.  You know show the city of Racine how I feel the Mayor’s pals protect him.

My guess is even with the info we have the Ethics board will see nothing wrong.

I believe  folks in the City  of Racine,Racine County, and the State of Wisconsin may think that in Racine WI petty corruption rules the day.

This is Racine after all. You know the City takes down the Streetlights and the Mayor goes to Mexico on your dime. Does your ass hurt?

4) The name of the person clearing the Viacom synicated programing 
running on Belle City TV over the last month
5) a list of all Racine area producers  as of 1/3/13

See the City and County of Racine have real issues mostly because the city of Racine has no money the City of Racine is over 200 Million in Debit that’s right over 200 Million the City of Racine is time and again #! in Unemployment and from reading Racine Exposed  we know that property values are dropping to the point that some buildings once worth over 500K that last year sold for less then 10% of that.   With that add the idea that the county has made little or no effort to seize for back taxes not homes but buildings in the downtown some owing over 5 years of taxes, this tells myself and others that property in Downtown Racine has little or no value.

So with all this going on what are we seeing our local leaders doing?  Cutting Costs  ? Selling unnecessary   Real Estate?

See  the City and County have a plan, the plan as I see it is invest $$ in the Marina  and we will pretend its working!

Now in Union Grove there was a Feed Store selling to Farmers and others in Union Grove the place closed last year. Sad truly Sad a store serving Farmers closed. The cynic in me thinks   that the plan will say great things and the powers that be will get on Dickert’s Network and lie and lie.

Money will be given to Good Old Boys who own companies so a few Union guys get $$ to spend change orders be given  to make sure the max Rape of the Tax payer will be done but at the end of the day all that happens is that you get fucked for a few Good Old Boys get $$ hey lets play a game:

1) Mayor John Dickert keeps Racine as the #1 City in Unemployment/\  Got that one He must be so proud!

2) A major employer in Racine tells it’s employees, that by 2015, the Company will be moved out of Racine/\  Lots of lay offs in the city and Johnson’s joined in so I say I am 50% right

3)  Delta Hawk will make little effort to hire more staff. The City makes no effort to “Claw Back” and funds used by Delta Hawk /\ 100% right on the mark what is going on at Delta Hawk?

4) Major issues with Porter’s Mayor Dicker tries to  fix by expanding the TIF. The effort fails

/\ Major issues as I see it time and again we got told it start soon still nothing… then who knows what is happening I say 50% right

5)  Issues over The 7th St Roundabout mirror The City Hall Bathrooms’s issues This becomes a major scandal  /\ big zip on this one

6) RiverWorks begins work on the Mound St overlook. Funding drys up. /\ big zip on this one too

7) The City loss of the Union law suit causes 35 employees to be laid off /\ we lost the case and appeal but no lay offs so 50%

8) The fight over CAR 25 results in two law suits /\ big zip here too but 2014 may change that

9) The Journal Times shuts the doors /\ wishful thinking on my part

10)  The City of Racine finds out the amount of the Settlement to “Bill” found to be over $150,000.

total cost to the City  of Racine will be found to be over $250,000  /\ off a bit in the total amount say another 50%

11) City of Racine buys Azarian for back taxes. /\  I think my talking about the possibility stopped that for now

Well unlike Mayor Dickert and his bringing companies to Racine I did OK I give myself a C+ on my predictions
