An Easter Gift!

_top_secret1

Why this week I received an early Ester gift!

This gift was a 85 page document about machinery row!

Yes 85 pages emails from and to the city from the properties owners on Water St that make up Machinery Row!

As well emails to and from Blackwell/staff and others on the development (or lack there of) this interesting idea.

As I read them I get the idea of kickbacks to the developer, escrow accounts set up for strange uses, lots of Complaining from the original owners on what was going on and the harsh feelings on the subject of working with Blackwell and the City.

I have read this twice as well as shown this to trusted others to get an understanding of what is going on.

This week I plan to share this with members of the Wisconsin Legislature in the hopes of letting them know of what I think is shady dealings in Racine so they can at least stop any more money from being spent by the State on this project.

As well be sending a letter outlining what I have to both HUD and POTUS for I hope for the Feds to stop any grants being given to this and with luck pulling some back.

This and other documents I have will be used as the bases of Ebooks on what I can only see as the most corrupt city in Wisconsin

Mayor John Dicker taking notes from Hoffa?

1aho

Of course let’s lend money that should perhaps be used to fix roads to our pals!

From The Journal Times

http://journaltimes.com/news/local/proposal-to-use-k-for-small-business-loans-called-jump/article_12960afc-807a-55a2-8d46-ed504bba4758.html

From the story “… A proposal being put forward by city officials, including Mayor John Dickert and members of the City Development Department, calls for using $371,454 in federal Community Development Block Grant funds to create a revolving loan fund. The fund could be used to make loans of $25,000 or more to small businesses that employ or hire low-to-moderate income Racine residents.”  “… Loans would be ultimately be approved by the city’s Redevelopment Authority and the City Council, according to city staff, but the vetting of loan applicants would be handled by the Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corp. and/or the Racine County Economic Development Corp….” Oh what pal of Mayor John Dickert serves on Redevelopment Authority?  A man who may sometimes not vote on issues maybe conflicts of interests?  Who is talked of by word on the streets of wanting to start a Brew Pub in Machinery Row?

But back to the story The telling part for me is this “…The money for the loan fund was made available as result of shift of CDBG funds from public infrastructure to economic development and job creation….”

Public Infrastructure  Things like Roads bridges and SIDEWALKS can you say Sidewalk fee to make up for the short fall even perhaps help put more money in what I can only see as a shush Fund for pals.

Big question when does leasing start to take place in Machinery Row  who will work that angle and how will they know (and they will know) our great Mayor.

News Flash Machinery Row Issues coming to a head!

IMG_1049

This Reporter has received information about Machinery Row development in Racine WI, far more then I ever thought, sources that wish to remain off the record tell me that Machinery Row in Racine  is dead in the water.

As they have told me deals that would have obtained the properties required to get Machinery Row started have not of this morning have closed, that as they claim owners of property have been told the deals they (property owners) thought they had have been withdrawn.

If so this would mean that Machinery Row is very much dead, that for anything to happen The City of Racine/County of Racine would have to come up with the funds to buy properties or seize said properties for say back taxes or perhaps eminent domain law.

With Racine is so much debit, how would the City Leadership try to justify the bond issue required to do so?

With this information come to me a map that shows a draft of the layout of Machinery Row to include a named business in the location.

Should this map be legit and from the information on the map, my guess it I do have a copy of a “official” map. We have a question.

This being will the long term dream of Mayor John Dickert of a New hotel on Lake Michigan  be coming to pass?  What deals will have to take place first?

Watch out for drones!

VOTE NO ON THE RUSD MONEY GRAB!

My view

The J-T Headline This AM

“Schools seek $8.5 million – Unified to ask voters for 15 years of additional revenue”

What???

How dare RUSD ask for 1 more $$ yet alone 8.5 Million in a time that MORE in Racine are Unemployed, The City of Racine it’s self is not filling openings on the Police Force to basically lay off 10 police officers  and the City of Racine facing a RICO lawsuit court fights over tax assessments, and not being able to keep what few events at the Civic Center coming back.

Economic turmoil going on as we speak with a long time Racine employer moving out of the city taking 300 jobs with it.

Yet RUSD is asking for more money to “run” the schools WTF!!!

Schools that cant get Minority kids to graduate, scores of the RUSD Schools should be getting “Leadership” at RUSD fired for such poor piss poor ability to teach kids have no shame in demanding more of YOUR money.

As I see it, RUSD as one of the commentators said today 8/14/14  should ask County Executive Jim Ladwig for some of the profits from Reefpoint Marina, perhaps from the restaurant that is paying NO RENT (must be nice) Maybe ask the DRC for a percentage of the millions spent on the booming downtown (Boy will they not be shocked with the higher property taxes coming via TIF 18 and Machinery Row)   I am sure the store owners will line up to chip in the stores on 6th St will insist on being first to do so!

And Porters being so so successful with Roll out the big bucks as will Delta Hawk for all the Jobs they have brought to Racine!

As I see it, the City of Racine is as I call this blog a City in Ruins run now by a Mayor that history will say was one of the most corrupt in the Midwest ever.

Yet RUSD wants more of your money, After all cost lots of money to pay Administration 100K+ to fail to teach kids so we have have a vast pool of unemployable workers to work at min wage jobs or become addicted to State benefits to keep the Democrats in power.

Could be worse our other elected officials could be just having one great party Oh…
